Investing in your local church is not just about money. Yes, your financial investment in the local church is vitally important. However, we are also called to invest our time and abilities.
People will say, “I just don’t have a lot to invest.” Investing, though, is not about what you don’t have. It is about what you have.
Scripture tells us that all of us have been given gifts. We might also call them abilities, talents, interests. Investing is about taking what God has given us and putting it to use.
I want to encourage you, if you have been doing more consuming than investing when it comes to your relationship with the church, to MOVE BEYOND consuming to investing. As you pray about investing what God has already given you to invest, I want you to consider the benefits:
- You will see a change in your life.
- You will see a change in your community.
- You will see a change in your world.
- God will bless your obedience.
With those benefits, how can you afford not to MOVE BEYOND?
