What We Believe
“For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 3:11
Everyone has some kind of foundation for what they believe. In most cases, that foundation had its origins in an experience or a relationship.
At Clarksburg Baptist Church, the things we believe are no different. Our beliefs, as a church and as individuals, have their foundation in a life-changing experience with Jesus Christ and a growing relationship with Him.
Our beliefs are more than just thoughts or concepts. Rather, our beliefs are also foundations. They are foundations for living our lives each day. They are foundations for the work and ministry of the church. They are foundations for relationships with others.
Our beliefs form the foundation of all that we are as believers in Jesus Christ.
