- Truly Truly

And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” – John 1:51
“Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live”. – John 5:25
There are moments in life when the truth of Jesus moves from something we know to something we feel deep in our bones. We saw this week Jesus saying, “Truly, Truly you can trust me. I am here. I am working. I am life itself.” Maybe you’ve been standing at the edge, watching others trust Him, wondering if you can too. Maybe you’ve believed in your head but not yet leaned in with your heart. The same voice that spoke life to Lazarus and changed Nathanael from a skeptic to a follower is still speaking today, into your pain, your doubt, your broken places, calling you to get in the wheelbarrow and let Him carry you.
Jesus doesn’t just promise life after death, He breathes life into dead things right now. The places in your soul that feel too far gone, too wounded, or too silent, those are the very places He wants to resurrect. He is saying, “Truly, truly, I am with you. Truly, truly, I am life.”
Prayer:
Jesus, You are truth itself. When You speak, life begins again. Help me to trust You, not just in words but with my whole heart. Raise to life what has grown cold in me. Let me feel Your presence in the middle of my doubts and remember that You are working, even when I can’t see it. Truly, truly, I believe, help me to live like it. Amen.
