Revival
The word "revive" comes from a Latin word that means "to live again." Well, obviously, in order for something to live again, it had to be alive in the first place. Churches often pray for and/or schedule a "revival." Often neither is successful. Could that be because we don't really understand what it is we are praying for and what it would look like if it really happened?
