If we, as followers of Christ, want to make a difference in our world and the lives of others, we must first have a burden. A burden, however, is not something we can create on our own. A burden comes when we possess God's heart for a ruined world and its hurting people. As important as it is to have a burden, the burden alone is not enough. God calls us to move beyond the burden and be about the task of rebuilding ruins and renewing people.
