Our Lord

More Than An Icon

Believers are quick to agree that Jesus is Lord. The word "Lord" flows easily from our lips in the songs we sing. We generally begin our prayers with, "Lord.". But, what exactly do we mean when we think, say, or sing that "Jesus is Lord?" In the New Testament, "Lord" can refer to any one of three relationships. What we need to know is are we referring to the correct one when we use "Lord" to describe our relationship to Jesus?
