Be here on October 4 for the return of Together Nights. These nights are designed for everyone. We start the evening at 5 with a meal with our church family then break off to kids activities, Student Life, and worship & teaching for adults.

Adults will be hearing from our friend Jill Narraway who is the Director of Camping and Youth for the state Baptist Convention. Jill’a talk will be “Living in the Age of Distraction: The Impact on Teens.” It will be a conversation for Family, Teachers, and the Church.

This presentation explores how constant connectivity, smartphones, social media, entertainment, and the pressure to always be stimulated are shaping the lives of today’s teenagers. Rather than simply blaming technology, the conversation will examine how distraction affects a teen’s attention, relationships, emotional health, spiritual life, learning, and ability to be present.
