Mary’s story reminds us that God often works in ways we don’t expect. Her life was interrupted, her plans were shaken, and her future looked uncertain. Yet she chose faith over fear, and her faith in God played the biggest part in bringing the Savior into the world. In the same way, when life doesn’t look like what we hoped for, God can still bring something greater than we could ever imagine. Remember what the Angel Gabriel told Mary, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” – Luke 1:37.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for Mary’s example of simple, trusting faith. Help me to look past my disappointments and uncertainties, and to trust that Your plan is good. Give me the courage to say “yes” to You, even when I don’t see how it will all work out. Amen.
