A habit is a particular way of acting which, due to repetition, becomes a normal part of our lives. Good habits promote spiritual growth and positive relationships. Bad habits, on the other hand, keep us stuck in elements of "the old self" we talked about a few weeks ago.
However, just breaking a few bad habits is not enough to get you unstuck. You also have to move beyond those bad habits and develop good ones if you are to continue to grow in your relationship to Christ and others.
