DESCRIPTION:Join us every Sunday night in May at 6PM in the Monroe Fellowship Room for the first installment of our new quarterly Sunday night study series\, CBC Nights! The first series\, taught by Pastor Phil Wayman\, will be based on the book "God on Mute: What to do when God is silent?" by Pete Greig.\n\nIf your deepest most desperate prayers aren’t being answered\, if life sometimes hurts so much that you secretly wonder whether God cares\, then you’re not alone. Surprisingly Jesus\, even Jesus\, suffered the silence of unanswered prayer. The one who turned water to wine\, healed the sick\, and even raised the dead went with prayers unanswered in His time of greatest need – the four days of His Passion. We will look at these four days and the example Jesus Christ gave us on how to face the silence of unanswered prayer. Child care will be provided.
